The Business Lounge:
Purpose-designed for today's business lifestyle

- The Lobby: The management and reception centre of the Lounge. Features 10 individual cabinets,
available for all-day or longer term leasing (we call these the smallest offices in Napier). Carry what you need, leave the rest locked away.
- The Booths: Recharge your batteries; check your emails; have a complimentary coffee or tea or a meeting over lunch. Regroup and connect in the light, bright booth spaces.
- The Space: 32sqm of sound-engineered space [more]
- The Place: The Space plus the Booths and couch areas provide a unique setting for small
conferences, training, trade displays and the like [more]

Pricing (excl GST):
- The Space (fully equipped as above): $80 per hour, yes, that's all for this fully equipped venue.
Set-up and clear-up time may be added, always quoted in advance.
- The Place: For half-day/day bookings we encourage use of the entire venue with an
additional flat $100 fee (this gives you all the breakout areas and exclusive use).
- A Booth (4 booth areas): Members-only, casual use is $25 per hour. Lounge membership
of $275 per year is included in E2theMax Expo membership.
- Catering is additional (or BYO) with a variety of suppliers of food and beverages.
(The Lounge has a full liquor licence.)

Purpose-built for business, here are some of the situations that have inspired the development of the Business Lounge:
- Commercial travellers setting up for the day. Simply book a booth and have this as your base. Recharge your batteries, check and send emails, have a complimentary coffee or tea (always available). If you need to receive faxes throughout the day, we can forward them to you via email. Combine the Lounge with our Virtual Office services and you have great flexibility and effectiveness. If you have meetings or presentations in the Lounge, we will meet and greet your guests. You can be the host with the most providing information and a complete (gorgeous) change of scene.
- Organisations delivering training sessions. The SPACE is engineered for presenting and
round-table discussion with the BOOTHS and couch settings providing 6 breakout areas (see the section below for more details).
- Testing or delivering presentations. Just bring your Powerpoint file on a memory stick or CD (or smarter yet, email it to us in advance and we can have it all set up for you with handout materials printed too, by the time you arrive). Play a DVD, select your own music selection - the SPACE
is a dream for presenters. Please note: We can also video your presentation for you to critique, and/or professional business speaker (and E2theMax owner) Jacqui Jones can provide feedback and coaching.
- Strategic metings and brainstorming sessions. A change is as good as a rest they say. We've
designed the Lounge to be a great place for resetting your thoughts on the way business can be done.
- Staff interviews or offsite confidential meetings. The technology built into the SPACE provides sound control and a great environment. Privacy can be increased with the option of booking the PLACE.
- Small conferences run with immense flexibility in the one venue. With concierge-like service, we can take care of the details while you focus on the business at hand. We are happy to work with your usual conference planner or to take care of arrangements for you.
Closer focus on the SPACE:
- AV equipment is integral to the area we call the SPACE (including a laptop, projector, screen
and remote pointer). You don't have to worry about arranging any of this it is all included.
- We have invested in the most comfortable exec chairs you'll find.
- NZ's most innovative table solution provides 7 standard options for the set up of the SPACE.
At break times we can rearrange the room to suit your next session needs.
- Purpose-built with walls and ceiling of insulated Noiseline, even the light fittings have Noiseline
cones to maximise sound control. This creates a wonderful ambience, a restfulness in which to settle and focus.
- Double-glazed trifold doors with frosted panelling create a unique atmosphere. These full-height
doors can be closed without creating a feeling of being closed in or opened right back to maximise the SPACE within the PLACE, or provide a large theatre environment.
- One-touch lighting and AV control by Hawke's Bay business Eastek, makes the
Business Lounge SPACE easy to use and a presenter's dream.
