HBDT for printers, copiers, faxes, scanners: The hardware, the software and the people that make the difference.
“Duncan and the HBDT team have shown themselves to be very professional which is quite frankly refreshing.
On the technical side, the system we have purchased is completely new inside but the user interface is an evolution – our 15 users have not had to face a big learning curve with copying, printing and scanning.
Fax capability is being added and implementation of the new machine has been painless – a very easy install with Darryl being fully up to speed with the Citrix server and any small hiccups being quickly fixed.
It’s early days, but they have put rubber to the road and walked the talk. Based on the service to date, I’d recommend them to anyone.”
Mike Sanko, Financial Controller, AllBrite Industries
"Duncan was proactive in approaching the school and he brings a very positive outlook to understanding and meeting our many different needs. The HBDT team has a high level of local, in-house capability and are very easy to deal with.
The technology is impressive, in particular stabilisation on the fly means users don't have to wait around for the machine to calibrate and consumables are able to be tracked and re-ordered automatically which is a real improvement in efficiency. Our system is also set up so that each job can be previewed to make sure it is bone fide - saving time, cost and materials and adding a level of security for the users and the administrator.
Ease of use really makes the difference on a daily basis. By setting favourites on the top panel we can automate the most regular print jobs like booklets and people are finding the interface is quite intuitive - they are able to use the new machine with little or no additional training. With the colour quality, consistency and speed, our Head of Art has been very impressed."
